MUSICAL NOTES Here are two paintings I donated to the Northampton Community Music Center for Friday’s dedication of the new Kelsey-Wright recital room, named for long-time center supporters Meg Kelsey Wright and Jonathan Wright.
A number of other donors who contributed to the renovation of the room are listed on a plaque inside the door. Jan Ruby-Crystal also donated artwork for the room’s walls.
Congratulations to Jonathan and Meg for their ongoing support of this valuable community resource.

“Bend In The Stream” Dynamic, very strong. Lots of paint, yeah I like this. I wish it was 10×6 feet.
Thanks Eric. I want to paint BIG!! The new studio (and my garage this summer) should help. I need to learn to stretch large canvases.
The first painting is very powerful to me. It’s moving! In the second one, I hear the music. Way to go, Russell.
