Russell, I love your (temporary, I think) transition to watercolor. The colors mimic your vibrant hues in your acrylics. Love them. Do you like this medium? I have always felt that the color is so saturated but it is not reflected in your color mixing. Very beautiful.
Thank you, Jan. I am enjoying watercolors more than I expected. They may become a permanent part of the mix, especially for plein air (although this painting was done in the studio). It feels very different from when I last used watercolors years ago, and my experience with acrylics has helped, I think. Loading up the paint!
