‘Where Everything Meets’ and ‘Slide’ have been chosen for the juried exhibit, ‘Art of Abstraction,’ at Arts Center East, Vernon, Connecticut.
The opening reception will be in the Eureka Gallery Saturday, September 26, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit continues through October 31. Gallery hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Art of Abstraction invited artists to explore the power of color, shape, texture, and movement beyond literal representation, celebrating the many ways abstract art evokes emotion and inspires personal interpretation.
In not many strokes “Where Everything Meets” magnificently realizes its title.
And in an exciting, complex painting “Slide” beautifully exhibits the power of color, shape, texture and movement which the Art of Abstraction called for. Bravo
