I AM PLEASED to announce that my artwork is now represented by the Agora Gallery, 530 West 25th St., New York, New York. Agora Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery established in 1984, “dedicated to the promotion of national and international artists,” according to its website, “providing original fine art to established and emerging collectors and catering to special events in support of fine art organizations that foster social awareness and promote the use of art in helping those in need.”

The gallery is also the publisher of ARTisSpectrum Magazine and the sponsor of ARTmine.com.

My paintings will be included in a collective exhibition at the gallery March 4 to March 25, 2014, with an opening reception Thursday, March 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. I know it is a long haul for many, but I hope that some of you can join me that evening.

How this came about is a refreshing story. Someone at the gallery found my paintings online in mid-August and invited me to submit a portfolio. It was recently accepted, and I finalized the agreement after visiting the gallery yesterday.

Agora represents artists from around the world, and I am honored to be among their company.

This is about as good as it gets. Not only gallery representation in NYC, but somebody who simply found and loved your work on line. Congratulations and celebrations!
